Andy Says starts us off with super stripped down drums accompanied by sonar blips. Planete Sauvage takes it up a notch with a nice sinister bass-line. Hypnokagne is defined by its marching snares and a bouncy, gritty bass. High-pitched rings fade from side to side on Sick my Duck. Last is the eerie melodic bass, vocal cuts, and rolling snares of Marie Speaking.

Following Nic Bommarito's "Harp Fragments", this is part II of our "America, the beautiful" series. I am following the enigmatic Derrick Hart for quite a while now. Equally rooted in the chromatics of US-American Folklore and off-key Pop music, Hart is blessed with a wonderful voice and musical talent that makes his compositions shine like nothing else I heard in a while. His four track "Songs from a cross (the sea)" EP is probably the shortest 12rec. release ever...

They all have one thing in common - they were never finished." Krzho decided to do some cleaning on the disk and finish those ideas with a little modern touch.

After a year and a half of silence, SpaceWine is making a comeback with the third album. "These tracks are from old files I made years ago. I abandoned them and forgot them, and their sweet melodies fermented like wine until I un-earthed them like an electronic Indiana Jones. You can consider them B-sides for my first release here on Bump Foot. There's Drum 'n' Bass, Breaks, and fun funky compositions which bleed into IDM. The Melodies are Sweet and the Trash is Loud."

After a trilogy of acoustic-based records, Ross Baker returns to a more electronic approach for Eyebrook. Named after the reservoir in Leicestershire, England, the album paints of a picture of the waterside and its wildlife. This rural sound is sculpted from a tapestry of 80s sounding synths, melotrons, acid house basslines, acoustic drones, breakbeats, and of course a sprinkling of acoustic guitar and piano. A wildly varied - and yet thematically consistent - album.

Latvian producer Aramaki brought us his latest album WSOL. The title reffers to "Why so long?" because his attempts to finish and release this album took him about 2 years. And it was worth it! It’s definately our honor and privelege to share this 1 hour long material of outstanding intelligent electronic and trip-hop music with acoustic instrumental parts as well as subtle fx’s and pretty massive basslines. Listen, enjoy and please spread the word if you like it.

In 2013 an ancient relic was unearthed in the Middle East. The relic was a music-box from a century pre-dating modern humans. A relic of proto-human musical composition. This album is a recording of the sounds on that ancient music machine. Music with an eerie resemblance to modern-day indietronica. The first midi controller. Wordless chants to pagan gods. Musical utterances of secret pagan knowledge, devouring the bi-polar dichotomy of "angelic vs. demonic".

Track five and six of the fuellsand ep-trilogy. The new compositions appear more intense and compact. With "i didnt even notice" there is a synthie-groover and "the approaching siren" catches up to "sun and paper industry" of the eels ep as a dark jazz-hybrid with heavy stage piano chords. Plus: An euphorical tribute to the g-funk and hot chicks in the artwork. what more can you ask for?

Electronic anthology by Russian artist Dmitriy Krotevich also known as Punktieren. This album contains several previously unreleased tracks of different musical influences with a strong Jazz background, all of which were produced by Dmitriy dating back as far as 2001, in this release this tracks are mixed together seemlessly into a megamix anthology of his older works. Cover artwork by Elena Romenkova.

In 2007, an instrumental band called "Aerotrio" released their self-titled album . This time, here comes another album by a member of the band, Edmar, under the name "Duis" (this one is also self-titled). It includes loungy trip-hop, funky groove, and jazzy downtempo.

there are different approaches to noise in electronic music. technically, noise is described as an equal amount of output in all present frequencies ('white noise') and sounds pretty boring. people tend to mix their original signals with fragments of noise to get a more individual, maybe more haptical sound; on the other hand, a lot of strictly experimental music uses noise as the main source of audio, shifted in frequency and amplitude, fed back to the machines or distorted and delayed. why do...

newport, 40 years ago. this is what the folkies must have felt like: they came to see their idol, they came to see the saviour. when bob finally entered the stage, the first thing he did was pluggin' in his guitar and let his fans taste the new 'electric dylan'. folks gone mad, booing and whisteling. once more, the artist was ahead of his followers, and critics nowadays praise the bob dylan songs with his guitar amplified and overdriven more than his folk music tunes. where's the connecting to...

kesselring's german vocals are the most important element in the und morgen, der asphalt-songs. the music is build around them, harmonically and structural. you can hear influences from 80's avantgarde-pop and independent-music; kesselring is not trying to sing most beautiful but lets the expression follow the content of his lyrics; you have to acclimatise because it sounds different from the music you use to know! maybe it's more easy if you can understand his surrealistic, dark and bloomy...

have you seen this short mobile-phone commercials a few month ago? you can watch a cool beauty folding her apartment and interior together, putting it all in her cute hand-bag. do you remember the soundtrack? i was confused finding more or less-known american bleep hop-kid dabrye set the music to an attvertisment-clip, and i was curious if skism couldnt have done as good as him. in fact hes good at melodies, his beats are as tight as playful, and david brings it all together in pretty firm...

zeugwart hallbauer like to use reverb. many sounds seem to circulate in a far distance, diving in and out of the listenerÂs ear. and they create a lot of room for these sounds, still there are always walls somewhere to stop the sounds from floating into total oblivion. did somebody say these guys were playing electronica? their music is sort of loop based, two or three main rhythmic motives and a line to carry the melody. dont get me wrong: the 'koelner sommer EP' isnÂt really minimal....
